We have all heard about it, talked about it, seen it, and sometimes even laugh about it. Online news has become an integrated part of our lives without us noticing it and sometimes even surprising on how dependent we are on Online News.
So what exactly is online news all about? Is it all about the happening events, issues, political struggle, financial reports, business opportunity, press releases and etc etc. With that much information, how can we define Online News?
According to Wikipedia
“An online newspaper, also known as a web newspaper, is a newspaper that exists on the World Wide Web or Internet, either separately or as an online version of a printed periodical.”
However, we in Cyber Sense find that such simple sentence is a complete underestimation of what Online News is really about. To further justify this claim, we would like you (the readers) to take this into consideration.
Political leaders receive the latest update on the world’s economical and political weather through online media. Which then results to the events and response to what may become “Today’s news”.
To kick start our discussion, do you agree that Online News is a tool that becomes a reference point in decision making due to its speed and availability in the modern world?
